Max Finney Foundation Scholarship Dinner
2022 Recipients
Each year, on the Sunday after the LAX to the MAX tournament, the Finney family hosts a Scholarship Dinner for the awardees. The family caters the event themselves as a way to honor the new recipients and celebrate their accomplishments. Each awardee is introduced and presented with a plaque. The family enjoys having time to meet and get to know these young men better, and more importantly, for the scholarship recipients to get to know each other. It is a goal that the scholarship recipients will support each other going forward, and that the older recipients will be mentors and role models for the newest recipients. The Finney family wants to foster a sense of brotherhood and camaraderie with these young men.
