The Max Finney Memorial Foundation was created in memory of Maximilian Xavier Finney who passed away in a vehicle accident on July 7th, 2018, at 14 years old. Although he was young, Max was full of a love for life and had an innate ability to see God's goodness in others. He lived each day to the fullest and could brighten any room with his beaming ear-to-ear smile.  Max was not only a talented athlete in football and lacrosse but also served with numerous different social organizations. Max had a love for learning and was to start the next chapter in his education at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, TX in the fall; an achievement he had been striving for for as long as he could remember. Max had dreams of becoming a pediatric ER doctor which was in line with his love of children and helping others.

To honor Max's love of learning, zest for life and love of those around him, the Max Finney Memorial Foundation has been created to help make the educational dreams of future young men become a reality through scholarships to high quality educational institutions.
